I'm suppose to attend Julia Gabriel's class today but I was still having abit of cough. So, mummy went to Dr Ong's clinic to collect an MC for me so that I can attend a makeup class on Saturday instead.

I'm having fever for the 1st time!

Runny nose and cough since 14th sept...
This morning, I felt feverish and mummy took my temperature. 38.5'C!
Mummy brought me to clinic right away, this time, to Dr EK Ong. The nurse gave me paracetamol immediately after taking my temperature...
Dr Ong said maybe I caught another virus from our trip to Cameron Highlands.... so he says, "Stay indoors, no Taka, no Orchard Ion, no Paragon, no crowded places".

Although Dr Ong did not have his mask on, I'm still afraid of him... or rather, I'm afraid of the weird apparatus in his hands. I don't like them near me. So I screamed and struggled when he wanted to hear my heartbeat or look into my ears. Luckily, he came prepared. He blew bubbles! So I stop struggling for awhile while I admired the bubbles...

Mummy says that Dr Ong is still the best, despite the horrid queues and his perpetually PMS-ing nurses...

PD visit, sick

After my 1st class for Term 4 at Julia Gabriels, Mummy and Daddy brought me to the PD as I had runny nose and was coughing quite badly during class. Hope my classmates didn't catch my virus.

We did not go to see Dr Ong today as he was fully booked. So, we went to see Gor Gor Lucas' PD at Paragon.

The nurse took my weight and height. 10.6kg, 81cm today

I did not like this doctor and was crying all the way. Maybe because he was wearing a mask. I don't like him touching me with anything.

GO AWAY!

After collecting the car, we went to fetch Por Por home from work. She's our 1st passenger

Then, we went to fetch daddy's good friend, Uncle Frank, and his family to have dinner together. Uncle Frank intro us to a very good restaurant at Pasir Panjang road. It's call Bistro One Zero Three. They have the yummiest garlic bread! I ate quite a bit of it, and learnt also to dip it into the bowl of soup before eating it.

Last but not least, a very very very yummy desert! Forgot the name though....

We have been busy car shopping for a couple of weeks now... yes, I'm involved. I've been climbing in and out of different cars, makes, and
models. Testing out their hazard lights and what's not. From a Skoda Superb (don't like the badge), to a VW Passat CC (not enough seats), to a Mercedes Benz C200 (not enough space), to an BMW 520 (still not there yet). Finally, we settled for the missing B!
Daddy and Mummy finally settled for a Black BMW 525iA.

From $105,800, to $120,800, to $151,800, to $146,800, to a $153,800. Finally, the BMW 525iA at a whooping $173,800 (plus some freebies).

We all know budget can be stretched... but... $68k difference? Good Luck!

This week is Uncle Kevin's last week of work at Jewel Box. Thus, mummy and her friends arrange to dine at Jewel Box while Uncle Kevin still has staff discount.

First, some naughty photos of me...

At Jewel Box, all of them ordered the infamous T-Bone Steak (FYI, mummy finished the whole steak! She has been craving for it ever since she returned from Canada!).
They also ordered salad and pizza as well. I like the pizza! I also had mummy's baked potato.

After that, we went for the cable car ride as it's only $3/pax for diners of Jewel Box.
I didn't like it at all.. keep crying to get out when the door opens. Am I afraid of heights? Or do I have motion sickness? Mummy doesn't know...

Mummy got bored today and ask Auntie Rane what's she's doing.... Auntie Rane told her she's on her way to chinatown to eat durians with Uncle Jon... and Mummy managed to persuade them to buy the durians and bring to our house to eat instead... woo hoo~

It was a real quick affair. Auntie Rane and Uncle Jon arrived at 11pm and we were done by 11.30pm!

Mummy took some really funny pictures of me with the king of fruits. Look at my funny expressions.

Auntie Rane made me sit with the durian by my side.... as you can see, I don't really dare to move...
Mummy says she'll put me next to the durian next time when I'm naughty.

Today Mummy ask me to say "Jiu Ma", and I said it... clearly "舅...媽". Before today, I could only say "舅舅", when asked to say "舅媽".
If prompted further, I'd just keep quiet because I couldn't figure out how to say it.

So far, when I see family group photos, I can identify and call out the following ppl:

Today Mummy received an email from St James' Church Kindergarten informing her that I've got a place in their Pre-Nursery Playgroup next year! I was actually on their long long waiting list... but because SJCK decided to open a 3rd session with an additional intake of 70 students, I am able to get in. Initially, mummy didn't want to put me in Session 3 as it clashes with my nap time. But SJCK is a good school, and since there's a chance to get it, we should work our time around it. I just have to wake up earlier, nap earlier, in order to wake up in time to attend class.

WOOO~~ so looking forward to school next year!

By right, I'm not suppose to enter as the movie is rated NC16, but mummy asked to speak to the manager... "how would earth would a 16months old understand the movie?" mummy reasoned. So, I got in.

Today's moving house day! Time is set at 12.15pm by the fengshui master.

No photos taken during the move as mummy was real busy...

After the movers left, daddy and mummy started unpacking while I was at Por Por's house...

Mummy's friends came to help in the evening and Gong Gong and Por Por sent me back to my new house in the evening as well.

After things are settled abit, we started fooling around with the camera. Uncle Jon needed to take a new photo for his passport, so daddy brought out the tripod and pasted MJ paper on the wall.

It's gonna be mummy's birthday soon! Two celebrations today, one in the afternoon by Mummy's dearest secondary school friends, and another celebration at night by Auntie Karen and Uncle Ian.

For lunch, it was at Guan Hoe Soon Nonya Restaurant.

I couldn't try any of the yummy dishes as they were all spicy...

After lunch, it was cake cutting time!

After that, Daddy and Mummy brought me to Marina Square to watch the movie "Ip Man". It was good! I watched awhile, slept halfway, and woke up to catch the ending. Heeee Mummy says I'm a very good girl, can sit quietly in the theatre to watch movie.

After the movie, Daddy and Mummy brought me to John Little to buy Tickle-me-Elmo as a belated christmas gift. Gor Gor Lucas has it and I love playing with it when I was at his place. So Daddy and Mummy bought one for me too!

Daddy's Birthday is coming soon and Mummy planned a surprise party for him. Mummy told daddy that her friends are coming over for pizza, which is true. What he doesn't know that they will be bringing along the cupcakes that mummy ordered and also birthday present for him! Shhh.....

I wasn't being very coorperative in having my dinner as there were too many aunties and uncles around. I JUST WANNA PLAY!

It was taken last Sunday.

I was really sleepy during the shoot cos it was my nap time.. I didn't cry though, but I didn't smile as much as mummy wanted me to. Next time mummy... schedule the shoot AFTER my nap time ok?

Trial @ Baby Jumper Gym

Daddy and Mummy brought me to a trial @ Baby Jumper Gym on 25th Oct. It was real fun!

Mummy says I'm very smart cos I got all the Flash Cards correct! We were taugh "Great Inventors", "Fruits", and "Dried Fruits".

I was also tested on my flash memory.. Ready??

I was flashed the following card for 3 seconds...

Then I was told to choose the card that was flashed earlier... and I got it right!

After card flashing and singing session, we proceeded to the Gym. I had great fun there!

Daddy and Mummy didn't sign me up for the full lesson though... cos mummy finds that the location is too far from home (Bukit Batok West). So we got to source for nearer to town classes.

I'm 10 months 3 weeks old and I CAN WALK~!!!! Mummy and Daddy's so proud of me! It has been quite a few months since I updated this blog... partly because mummy's been busy with the wedding, and work. And this blog site is not really reliable.
